Terms of Service
Effective 2 November 2026
The short version
- MailBuzzr is an app for reading and managing your own Microsoft mail. Use it lawfully and only with accounts you're allowed to use.
- Your mail is yours. We only process it to run the features you use.
- Subscriptions are bought and managed through Apple, and renew until you cancel.
- Smart features and notifications are helpful, not guaranteed. Don't rely on them alone for anything critical.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Aversys Mobile (“we”, “us”) for the MailBuzzr apps, including MailBuzzr for Outlook, MailBuzzr HD and MailBuzzr Pro, our notification service and this website (together, “MailBuzzr”). By downloading or using MailBuzzr you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use MailBuzzr.
If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent the App Store rules allow.
2. Who can use MailBuzzr
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13. If you use MailBuzzr for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it and to connect its accounts.
3. Your email accounts
- MailBuzzr works with Microsoft accounts (Outlook, Hotmail, Live and Microsoft 365). You connect them through Microsoft's sign-in, and your use of those accounts stays subject to Microsoft's terms and your organisation's policies.
- Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to use.
- You're responsible for activity in the app on your device. Use the app lock if others can use your device.
- MailBuzzr is an independent app and is not made, endorsed or supported by Microsoft or Apple. If Microsoft changes or limits access to its services, some features may stop working.
4. Your content
Your mail, contacts, rules and other content remain yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the features you use, for example to check new mail against your smart alert rules and notify you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train AI models.
5. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MailBuzzr on devices you own or control, under these terms and the App Store rules. You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows despite this limit;
- use MailBuzzr to send spam, phishing, malware or unlawful content, or to harass anyone;
- interfere with, overload, probe or bypass the security of our service or anyone else's;
- use automated means to access our service other than through the app;
- use MailBuzzr in breach of any law, Microsoft's terms, or your organisation's rules.
MailBuzzr, its design, code, names and logos belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any right to them beyond the licence above.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
- Some features, and an ad-free experience, require a paid subscription or purchase. Prices and what's included are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, you'll be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- One-time purchases from earlier versions, such as Pro or Remove Ads, are no longer sold. If you bought one, you keep what it gave you, and you can move up to a subscription at any time.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change prices or features of paid plans. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and Apple will tell you where required.
7. Free version and ads
The free version may show ads from third-party networks, as described in the Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for advertisers' products, websites or claims.
8. Smart features
The smart classifier, Mail Hub, smart alerts, routines and other automated features use on-device models, including Apple Intelligence where available. They can make mistakes: mail may be placed in the wrong category, details such as amounts, dates or tracking numbers may be read wrongly, and routines act on the rules you set. Check important information against the original email and review routines before running them. Apple Intelligence and downloadable models need a compatible device.
9. Notifications
We work to deliver new-mail alerts promptly, but delivery depends on Microsoft, Apple, Google, your network and your device settings, and alerts can be late or missed. Don't rely on MailBuzzr notifications for emergencies or anything where a missed message could cause harm.
10. Third-party services
MailBuzzr connects to services we don't control, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, websites you open from emails, and unsubscribe links senders provide. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
11. Emails about MailBuzzr
By using MailBuzzr, you agree that we may email the addresses of the accounts you add with news about the app, such as new versions and features, important changes, and updates to these terms or our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We may still send essential notices about security or your account.
12. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Changes and ending
We may update MailBuzzr, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we discontinue a paid feature you've paid for, we'll make reasonable efforts to give notice in advance. You can stop using MailBuzzr at any time by removing your accounts and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms or misuse our service. Sections 4, 5 (ownership), 12, 14, 15 and 17 continue after these terms end.
14. Disclaimer
MailBuzzr is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't promise that MailBuzzr will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it won't lose data.
Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by contract.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of MailBuzzr. Our total liability for any claim relating to MailBuzzr is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
This doesn't limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
16. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims by others caused by your misuse of MailBuzzr or your breach of these terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in your local courts.
18. Apple App Store
If you downloaded MailBuzzr from the App Store, you and we acknowledge that:
- these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for MailBuzzr and its content;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for MailBuzzr;
- if MailBuzzr fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation;
- Apple isn't responsible for any claims relating to MailBuzzr, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims;
- you confirm you're not in a country under a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
19. General
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor of MailBuzzr. These terms, the Privacy Policy and any terms shown when you buy something are the whole agreement between us about MailBuzzr.
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using MailBuzzr after that, the new terms apply.
20. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected], or Settings › Contact Support in the app.
